Nature Will Launches Natura-1: First Foundation Model for the Physical World

Nature Will has launched Natura-1, its first foundation model for the physical world, trained on one million hours of egocentric video data of humans handling various scenarios and objects. The model enables robots to handle unseen objects and tasks, follow specific instructions about object placement and orientation, maintain control during grip shifts, and perform different tasks with each hand. Nature Will tested Natura-1 on real robots, including tasks excluded from final training, demonstrating difficult actions like putting glasses into a case and unfolding a towel.
