Google's AI Model WeatherNext Cyclones Published in Nature, Boosts Typhoon Prediction Accuracy

Google DeepMind and collaborators published a paper in Nature introducing WeatherNext Cyclones, an AI model for tropical cyclone forecasting that generates 15-day scenarios and achieves accuracy comparable to existing models one day earlier. The model is open-sourced but not a substitute for official warnings.
