Mustafa Suleyman claimed at the event that MAI-Cyber-1-Flash, combined with GPT-5.4 and the MDASH framework, "beat Gemini, GPT-5.5 Cyber, GPT-5.6 Sol, and Mythos 5" on the industry-standard Cyber Gym benchmark. He called Cyber Gym "the gold standard we all use." The model will be "immediately put into production."
Microsoft enters an increasingly crowded AI cybersecurity market. According to TechCrunch, Anthropic earlier this year released the Mythos security platform to select partners through Project Glasswing; OpenAI also launched its own security solution in May via Project Day Break.
