Building a Self-Evolving Coding Companion: Qoder Memory System Implementation

Alibaba Cloud technical expert Wang Shijie shared the implementation of Qoder's coding agent memory system at QCon 2026 Beijing. The system uses three technical routes—brain-like memory, model memory, and external memory—to solve problems of knowledge loss, repeated communication, and unreusable experience, enabling persistence of communication preferences, project information, development standards, pitfalls, and experience memory.
