Google Reportedly Developing New AI Chip Aimed at Boosting Gemini Model Efficiency
Google's parent company Alphabet is reportedly developing a new server chip, internally called 'Frozen v2,' to improve the efficiency of its Gemini AI models. Expected to launch in 2028, the chip could be 6 to 10 times more efficient than current Google AI chips. This development aims to reduce costs and enhance performance for AI workloads.
