OpenAI employee arrested for allegedly planting a bug in a conference room

An OpenAI engineer, Abdulrahman Alfozan, was arrested after the company discovered a hidden recording device in an executive conference room. He is charged with using or attempting to use a device to intercept oral communications. OpenAI said its AI models helped identify the device and the employee who planted it.
