Google DeepMind to Open Robotics Lab in Boston Area

Google DeepMind is building a new robotics lab in the Boston area to expand its hardware team focused on bringing advanced AI into physical systems. Aaron Saunders, former Boston Dynamics CTO and current Google DeepMind VP of embodied systems and robotics, announced the facility in Cambridge via a LinkedIn recruitment post on Monday. Saunders said the team has been under development since he joined DeepMind almost a year ago.
