Nvidia in talks to acquire Reflection AI, which just released Beam targeting Chinese open-source models

Nvidia is in preliminary talks with AI startup Reflection AI to discuss a potential acquisition or increased investment. Reflection AI recently released its first open-weight model, Beam, positioned as a competitor to Chinese open-source models like DeepSeek and GLM. The negotiations are at an early stage and no agreement has been reached.
