OpenAI launches GPT-6 series and Intelligent UI on ChatGPT

On October 8, OpenAI announced the launch of the GPT-6 series models and a new Intelligent UI on ChatGPT. Plus and higher-tier paid subscribers can use GPT-6 Sol immediately, while free and Go-tier users gain access to the lightweight GPT-6 Luna starting the same day. OpenAI data shows that in web-search scenarios, GPT-6 Instant begins outputting content 44% faster than GPT-5.6 Instant.
