Anthropic report: Russian team misused Claude to train autonomous kamikaze drone

Anthropic released a threat intelligence report revealing that a Russian team used Claude's coding tool to help build software for autonomous FPV kamikaze drones and trained them on scraped Ukrainian combat videos to choose their own targets. The activity, tracked as GTG-27005, is one of several cases of Claude being misused for malicious purposes. The incident raises concerns that publicly shared war footage can be repurposed for weapons development.
