Skillsync launches to make AI chat sessions portable across agents

Skillsync, a YC W26 startup, launched a tool that enables AI chat sessions to be moved across different coding agents. It uses an open-source Rust engine called txcript to convert session formats, preserving messages, reasoning, and tool calls. The tool includes a local-first desktop app and stores skills and memory as portable markdown exposed via MCP.
