Li Fei-Fei's World Labs Launches Atlas; Chinese Team Ying Su Leads in Comparable Open-Source Model

On September 2, World Labs, founded by AI pioneer Li Fei-Fei, released Atlas, a multimodal world model capable of unified 3D spatial understanding and scene reconstruction. Meanwhile, the Chinese open-source team Ying Su had already launched a similar model, InSpatio-World, in March, with its variant InSpatio-Curious topping the authoritative WorldArena 2.0 benchmark for embodied AI, highlighting strong competition in spatial intelligence.
